WORKSHOP | MARKETING PLAN | OUTSOURCED MARKETING

Limba Loans approached Marketing Angels to help strengthen their industry positioning. They wanted to create a trusted and recognised brand that would appeal to their target markets. They were looking to reposition as a commercial lender to medium businesses via a strong partner broker network. They also want to educate brokers about their business, develop a compelling brand position and grow awareness amongst the broker network.

The Project

Limba Loans supports small and medium-sized businesses looking to expand operations with fast, convenient unsecured, secured and mezzanine funding. They are an alternative lender with a 20-year history. Limba Loans works closely with finance brokers and referral partners, offering solutions to Australian businesses’ capital or cash-flow needs.

The Approach

Our first step with Limba Loans was to do a brand and marketing workshop to develop a clear branding approach. Then, using the results from the workshop, we created a detailed marketing strategy with tactical elements to build awareness and drive business within their target markets. The next step was to refresh the brand identity for continued business growth, including:

  • Updating all their social media pages and increasing their business footprint across these channels
  • Attracting new brokers by providing helpful content to build trust and position them as industry leaders
  • Building a new website
  • Creating new marketing materials, which included online flyers, email signatures and stationery
  • Designing an event stand and advertising for sponsorship of The Advisor Bootcamp 2022

The results

All our efforts proved to be successful. With a tailor-made plan, we were able to help Limba Loans create a brand that stood out against its competitors. An eDM to delegates for The Advisor Bootcamp 2022 achieved a 50 % open rate. This resulted in 2 broker accreditations. In addition, we arranged two speaker opportunities at The Bootcamp for brokers with a 5 minute introduction and inclusion in the panel and a 10 minute one-on-one interview session.
