The refreshed branding, packaging and point of sale material have been extremely well-received by Australian Bush Flower Essences loyal customer base, distributors and retailers.
Australian Bush Flower Essences are an established, iconic wellness brand founded by 5th generation herbalist, naturopath and scientist, Ian White. Their unique essences harness the power and resilience of Australian Bush botanicals to facilitate emotional health.
Their wide range of products are sold locally and globally through retail, wellness and natural therapy practitioners and online. They export to over 30 countries. They are well recognised in the wellness space and used by a loyal and growing customer base in Australia and around the world.
Marketing Angels were initially approached to assist with reviewing the Australian Bush Flower Essences skin care range. After an initial meeting, it was decided that it was important to look at the overall brand and full product range in its entirety to ensure the brand maintained a consistent and cohesive presence, to clearly distinguish between the skin care range and more well-known essences range in-store, and to maintain the strong brand recognition and loyalty that already existed.
To achieve the objectives, Marketing Angels prepared and facilitated a brand strategy workshop to review the overall brand and positioning as well as the current products to develop a branding approach and hierarchy for each to distinguish between product types. We developed:
Brand Identity – Marketing Angels created a new brand identity for the Australian Bush Flower essences brand, which was rolled out across all communications
Website Design – Marketing Angels provided visuals for a new Australian Bush Flower Essences website which was then implemented internally by their in-house website developer
Packaging – Marketing Angels designed new packaging for the essences range for 36 different packages.
Photography – Marketing Angels styled and directed a photoshoot to capture the new package range.
Social media marketing – Marketing Angels then planned and executed a social media marketing calendar and designed and implemented visuals using the updated photography and imagery
As a result of the overall brand strategy, refreshed brand, packaging, brand assets and visuals and digital promotions, Australian Bush Flower Essences have consistently grown their online sales and are now well positioned to continue to grow the brand locally and internationally and expand into new market segments.
Key distribution partners have welcomed the new look and feel and provided very positive feedback as to how it’s performing in the channel. Marketing Angels is continuing to work with Australian Bush Flower Essences on repackaging the remaining product range and launch new products.
Marketing Angels were able to get a good grasp of our business and brand and provide us with clear direction on how to roll out refreshed branding to introduce our existing essences to new customers, introduce new products to the market and ensure we maintained our brand recognition and brand qualities enjoyed by our loyal and devoted customers.
The new brand helps us extend our brand through more mediums in the digital space and cut through in the retail environment. We can already see the impact the new branding and packaging are having in boosting our brand and sales online and in the retail environment.
